At the Kosmos HQ & Observatory, we're committed to protecting your privacy. We collect the absolute minimal information and only what's really necessary to provide you with a great app experience.

Who Are We

Kosmos has been created by Jimmy Forrester-Fellowes of Rocketware Limited. A small independent company in the United Kingdom (Company Number: 7622325).

Your Data

This the the data we collect or process:

Account Information: If you choose to create an account, we create and store unique authentication ID for you, this data is stored and processed in our Firebase Firestore database.
Location Data: To generate accurate astrological charts, we will ask you to provide your live location. This is optional and you can choose a fixed location instead. Your location data is stored solely on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
If you choose to create an Astrological Natal Chart, then you will need to provide location data and a time so we can calculate this chart. This is stored in our Firestore database. Unless you choose to share your chart, this information is not viewable by anyones account but yours.
Usage Statistics: We use Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to gather anonymous data on how you use Kosmos. This helps improve the app and fix any bugs.

We do not share your personal information with any third parties. Your data stays with us.

Data Retention

If you delete your account, then your information (Unique account number, your settings & any birth charts) will be permanently removed immediately. Otherwise your account, charts and settings will persist on our systems until you tell us otherwise.

Account Deletion

You can delete your Kosmos account at any time through the account settings screen in the app. This will remove all your data from our systems.
